Custom Warm-Up Routines:

Let Precision create your team’s custom warm-up routines! Each warm-up is individualized to your team's needs and scalable to fit any levels. We integrate the details of gymnastics with a science-based approach to movement to increase the efficiency of your warm-up time.

Don't have time to add artistry to your schedule? No problem! Our warm-ups are designed to target the non-value part deductions (artistry, footwork, posture & body line) as well as allow for creative movement and embellishment.

Losing track of basic conditioning as you progress to harder exercises? We will include shaping, strength, and injury prevention into the warm-up to prime your gymnasts for their practice or meet. Let us help you solve your most common issues and maximize each gymnasts' potential.

Our custom warm-ups begin with a consultation to better understand your goals and needs. You will receive a written form/PDF of the warm-up as well as a video to follow. Before bringing the warm up to your team, we will review each movement and its purpose with you. This is a great learning opportunity to better understand the body for greater buy-in and intention during warm-ups.

We also offer the opportunity to learn the warm-up in-person with your team and staff. We will break down each movement and can make real-time customized adjustments as needed. This can be combined with any of our other services (choreography, clinics, in-gym consulting) to set your team up for continued success.

Each warm-up is comprised of 2 segments:

  1. athletes remain in their own small space
  2. line/across the floor work

WARM-UP TYPES (last between 15-30 minutes)

Comprehensive*:

Part 1) Tackles dynamic flex, footwork, shaping, plyo, artistry, posture, injury prevention, strength, landing mechanics, and foundational drills.

Part 2) Includes varying movements across the floor, elaborating on part 1’s components. A large emphasis is put on keeping gymnasts active the entire time as well as incorporating “starts” and “finishes” with each pass.

Targeted:

Part 1) Using 1 specific component, an entire warm up is devised. Ex) Dynamic Flex and Leaps, Tumbling Basics, Artistry, etc. This warm-up is multi-faceted and efficient. Athletes will improve in one specific area while also warming up the body for the day’s practice.

Part 2) Includes varying movements across the floor, elaborating on part 1’s components. A large emphasis is put on keeping gymnasts active the entire time as well as incorporating “starts” and “finishes” with each pass.

Routines can be choreographed to music by request. Coach provides music  options.

*Comprehensive Warm-Ups can also be created to be used as Meet Warm Ups: Show up to a competition and “hit” a routine before the first event! Meet Warm-Ups will be abridged to fit into “General Stretch” at meets and allow for pre-meet equipment settings etc.
